Even though most people practice Human Respect naturally, there are exceptions—often in places where we don’t expect them.

A politician writes a law that takes money (through taxes) from some people to give to others. While it might seem harmless because it's "legal," it still breaks the Principle of Human Respect, because taxes aren't voluntary requests. You comply or face an escalating series of threats.
